Finishing Up in New Mexico
Thank you for your so much for financial, emotional and prayer support through this school year.  I take my finals next week!  Then I move on to State Boards.  The school I’m attending has been focused on Clinical massage and those family & friends I’ve been practicing on are thrilled with the results.  I’m overwhelmingly grateful the Lord allowed a way for me to be educated and able to practice in a ‘clinical’ field I feel comfortable with.

My step-grandmother, Charlotte, a wonderful friend and neighbor who I met upon moving out here, has helped me tremendously through this process.  She’s faithfully walked over to my house and taken care of my pets several times a day when I’ve been away for classes.  She’s been an angel, sent from God, as strong Christian encouragement and prayer warrior through the year.  As I’ve slugged my way through this, she’s been right beside me, always smiling.  I thank God for knowing and supplying what I needed through her.

Starting in September, I’ll be working in the MVI main office for a while.  They have asked me to help out by taking over the training of new missionaries.  We’ve discussed a few other tasks that I’m sure will unfold after I arrive.  Current prayer concerns for this transition are: the trip to Florida with the pets, a vehicle, a place to live in Orlando, and monthly finances.

Prayer

I am anxious to continue to move forward with MV Latin America.  I’m looking forward to seeing how the Herbal Remedies and my recent education  turns into ministry.  I would really like to take the training for iBam, Business as a Ministry with the focus of helping organizations working with rescuing women and children from the streets.  AND All my ‘worldly stuff’ is waiting for me in storage in Costa Rica.  In this journey with God, I rarely know what’s going on more than a few months in advance, so I am open to what ever the Lord has for me.

Please pray for us missionaries!  Letters are coming in from churches and financial supporters stating they have to reduce or terminate our support OR just lowered support with out notice.  While this is completely understandable, Churches and financial supporters need our prayers, it does makes it quite difficult to get by each month.

Pray for missionaries, supporters, churches, Unexpected Gracious gifts and miracles to keep us going!

May God Bless you “abundantly above all we could ask or think!”  Again, I thank you for your prayers and support!!

Love!  Sondra

God’s Perfect Timing

When I left Florida, all those years ago, to be a missionary, I ‘gave my life over to Him’ and literally started following a path having no idea where it would lead.  Everything has been exciting, unexpected, fulfilling and it’s all just been training as I’m constantly learning.  Yet, despite all that, it’s uncanny how I come up with plans for my life and my ministry, and honestly expect things to pan out in that general direction (I laugh as I say that).  The last few years have been incredibly different from anything I could have come up with and I’m so grateful for the way the Lord has just simply taken over and literally moved me to being places and doing things I would never have chosen or taken the time to do.

My Fabulous Mom!

My mother, Elaine Livermore, age 63, was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday.  She is strong, with a positive attitude and has peace and faith in the Lord.  Please pray for her health, strength and for the wisdom of the doctors and surgeons.  Mom has some pretty heavy decisions to make this next week as to how she’s going to deal with the cancer.  Please pray for my family.

My last weekend of school is this next weekend.  I believe my time in New Mexico is wrapping up quickly.  I’m very grateful that I’m merely a few states away from my Mother.
I will probably be packing my things after I’m done with school next week and moving my pet zoo to California to be with her as she moves through the healing process over the next few months.

Please pray with us as we make decisions, live and work together as a family.
