After much praying, I am very happy to announce that the Lord has connected me with a new sending organization, Commission To Every Nation (CTEN). The last few months I’ve felt lead to find a ministry covering that would not only accept donations for projects, but be aware of my ministry activities, oversees trips, and provide pastoral covering for me. I applied to CTEN a few weeks ago, completed my interview and have been accepted to be part of their world wide ministry. CTEN has a passion for Christ, they focus on relationship, they have financial integrity and have an efficient administration system. They have a denominationally diverse leadership team, they are committed to partnering with the local church, and CTEN’s philosophy of ministry is “helping ordinary people partner with God to accomplish the extraordinary”. I really identify with that!
You can continue to send checks to Countryside Christian Center, or you can choose to send checks to CTEN. CTEN has been given 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service. The address is below. Be sure to make the check out to the appropriate organization, and include a note stating: “Preference Sondra Livermore: Personal Support”. CTEN also offers the opportunity to give online by credit card or EFT. You can go to www.cten.org/sondralivermore and click on the DONATE button. This will direct you to our support page where you can make an online contribution or set up a reoccurring contribution with your credit card or bank institution. CTEN issues receipts for all donations processed. For more information, you can call the CTEN office at (800) 872-5404. You can learn more about CTEN by visiting their website at www.cten.org.
I will still be doing what I already do! I am headed to David, Panama the first week of November with Indigenous Training Ministries to start two new Christian Training Centers. Pastor Raul Valdez and Pastor William Olivares will be combining their churches to provide meals and location for the first General Discipleship class. It will be a week of all day teaching to take students from both churches through the class, the exam, and receive their first 3 credits. Pastor Karen Hanson is coming from Florida, and Pastors Jorge Ibarra and Alfredo Martinez are coming from Nicaragua to help teach. (This will be a missions adventure for both Karen and the Nicaraguan pastors!) Please pray about sending funds to help start these two CTC’s. My personal trip expenses will be $1600. The pastors will also have needs they share once we get there.

Thank you for supporting missions ministry, reading my newsletters and praying for me!

Sondra's News Oct 2015
Threads of Hope has volunteered to help Pastors Edelma and Vladimir Monge in Managua, Nicaragua with starting a sewing school for women and young people from the city dump. I will be taking a team from Threads of Hope in May to Managua for a week to get the sewing center set up and give the first week of classes. This is a huge answer to prayer for Pastor Monge as they are currently feeding children in that neighborhood three times a week and see the desperate need for adult training to increase family income.
And... the Ibarra Team House project is under way. Have you gone to Managua? Have you stayed with the Ibarra family? If you came on a team with me, you probably did! Asdrubal passed away 2 years ago, and Marta is still very interested in helping her country by running teams out of her home. She tells me the story, many years ago, of placing her hands on all she had, dining room chairs, a kitchen table and telling God, she didn’t have much, but it wasn’t hers, it was His, and He could use it for His glory. The Lord has used her home for teams to help Nicaragua for over 25 years. Needless to say, it
needs some repairs, starting with the wall that protects the property. Please pray about helping with funding!
I don’t send out letters soliciting for funds very often. So, please forgive me if you are offended. I personally need more funds to pay for trips. I live as frugally as possible so I can use funds that come in for missions. As more Christian Training Centers are started, trips are necessary to check on them and start more! And I am starting to help pastors with projects as stated above. Each project fills a need, and furthers ministry, and each project needs funds.
If you’re not already helping with monthly support, please pray about it.
Or you can give a one time donation, attach a note:
“ Preference Sondra Livermore”
Contact me personally to specify where you’d like the funds to be directed.
Thank you for your prayers!
Thank you for reading the letter!
