2015 Sondra's Mini Bio

Sondra is currently living in the Mimbres Valley, New Mexico.  She has chosen to live with minimal expendetures on her parent's property to spend her time and finances on missions projects.  She is traveling to Central & South America partnering with Indigenous Training Ministries to establish Christian Training Centers.

Sondra lived in Latin America for 15 years, primarily in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.  During that time one of the deepest needs she saw was education of Christian workers, pastors, and leadership.  Many of the pastors had no Bible education or training, they had received Christ as their personal savior, and begun ministering to those around them.  There is also a lack of training or study for young people desiring to be in full time ministry.

Sondra's main focus is to establish contact with Christian pastors, organizations or denominations in Latin America that are interested in running a Bible College.  She has made many scouting trips in the last two years. The Christian Training Center(CTC) program offers two years of Bible College curriculum at no cost.  Once the CTC is established, leadership receives training and complete responsibility.  The CTC belongs to them.  Sondra is involved in overseeing the CTC from a distance, visits frequently to teach, pray and encourage.

Sondra and Rev. Christensen started two CTC's in Managua, Nicaragua in 2014.  They started a CTC in Panama City, Panama in 2015.  Sondra is returning to Panama in November to start 2 CTC's in David, Panama.

Sondra is also initiating projects to help the pastors participating in the CTC's with the different calls and visions God has put on their hearts.  Sondra is coordianting and will lead a team with Threads of Hope into Managua in February 2016 to assist a pastor's vision of training women to sew.  She currently helps to coordinate funding for a feeding center on the island of Ometepe, Nicaragua.  And will continue to assist with teams and projects as the Lord opens doors and leads for her to be able to do so.
